Greetings and Welcome to NCA!

I’m thrilled that you’ve taken a moment out of your busy life to check out the Nassau Counselor’s Association website.  I’m even more thrilled that you are taking an interest in this dynamic and engaging organization.   YOU are the reason that NCA is thriving today!

As you surf around the site, I hope you will grow inspired to get involved:

• Join our organization…almost 1000 of your colleagues already have!
• Just click on the “Membership Application” link.

• Attend an event…you paid your dues, come out and mingle with your colleagues!
• Keep checking the events calendar here on the website for upcoming dates

• Join a committee…trust me, you can find the time!!
• Whether you can give a little time or tons of time, we have a role for you to play.
• Simply check out the “Executive Board” link and send an email to the committee chairperson.
  
• Not sure what committee to join, just write to the Program Chair, Dave Follick…he’ll put you in touch with one of our committees.

• Submit an article to the NewsCaster…our award-winning newsletter!
• Share your expertise on a subject.
• Research a trend and report on it.
• Tell us what you’re doing at your school.
• Just contact Karen Cole for more information.

• Send me your suggestions and comments.

It is an honor, a privilege and a great deal of fun to serve as NCA’s president and I look forward to the exciting journey that we’ll all share together in the year ahead.
